# Managing Member Permissions in SharePoint

Site owners are responsible for providing access to their department members. Follow these steps to add team members for site access and collaboration with shared files and folders across Teams and SharePoint. ### 1. Navigate to your SharePoint Site

### 2. In the top right corner, click on ## members to open the Group Membership pane...

### 3. In Group membership, click on Add members...

### 4. Type the email address of the member being added and click on their name. Repeat if adding multiple members.

### 5. Click on Save
