# Creating a SharePoint Shortcut

Follow these steps to easily access your SharePoint documents via your OneDrive folder on the web and the OneDrive Desktop App. NOTE: We recommend creating shortcuts vs syncing, as syncing has been known to cause issues with users who routinely collaborate on shared files.

### 1. Click on App launcher

### 2. Click on SharePoint

## # From your SharePoint landing page...

### 3. Click on your Department SharePoint Site

### 4. Click on Documents in the left hand column

### 5. Locate your desired folder and click on Add shortcut to OneDrive

### 6. Click on App launcher

### 7. To see your newly linked folder, click on OneDrive

### 8. Click on My files

### 9. Voila, your newly linked folder with all of its contents
