The Zoom desktop application is prohibited on campus managed devices. Users who are invited to join a Zoom meeting must use the web application. Some users may find it difficult to locate or be presented an option to join via web only. To bypass the persistent Zoom desktop installation, use this direct link to Zoom’s web application: [https://app.zoom.us/wc](https://app.zoom.us/wc)  

- Click Join Meeting and input the meeting ID or link information from your meeting invitation or…
- Click Sign In to Launch, Join, or Schedule a meeting.

> 📝 Meeting hosts may restrict participants from joining via the web. Ensure your host allows participants to bypass the Zoom download process.

To enable joining via the web application:

- Go to <u>[My Profile - Zoom](https://zoom.us/profile)</u>
- After signing in, go to My Account -> Settings

- In the Search Settings box, type ***Show a "Join from your browser" link***, and enter.
- Ensure the toggle is enabled and boxes are checked.
