1. On the phone, dial the first party of your call.  While on the first call, press the Trans/Conf button to place the call on hold.
2. Dial the next phone number. (For external calls, press 9 first.) When the 3rd party answers, announce the conference call and press the “Conference” button.
3. You will now see “3 Party Conf” showing on the upper right label when all three calls are on.
4. You can add up to 2 more calls. Press Trans/Conf again, dial the next number and join them to the call. Or, if one party calls in, press Trade Call, which puts the conference call on hold and allows you to pick up the call that is calling in.
5. Press Conference to add the call-in number to the conference call.
6. You will now see 4 Party Conf showing when all four are on.
7. Follow the same procedures to add one more caller to the conference call. You can have up to 5 parties on the same call.
8. If there is a conference saucer attached to the phone, it will show “Conf Unit (Off)” on the display.  Press the Conf Unit button and then press Turn On to turn on the conference saucer and controls.
9. Adjust the volume by using the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons. You can also press the Mute button if you want to talk in the room without the other callers hearing the conversation.

If you have more than five people on a call, we recommend using Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Both of these options can use phone calls or video calls. Put in a ticket on [help.nnu.edu](http://help.nnu.edu) for assistance.
