<u>Search Emails by Date</u>

At the top of your inbox, search for a block of dates.

- **Date ranges**—Example: *after:2003/1/1 before:2015/1/1*
- Press Enter. A list of the first 50 email messages that fit the parameters will be listed. From this list, you can select all to delete all of them on this page or deselect any you do not want to delete.
- You can also select all messages in your entire mailbox that fit this parameter, rather than just the first 50, by clicking the link at the top of the inbox. > Macro (inline-media-image)

- You can delete all messages that fit within this search if you want. (Generally, the best practice across most educational institutions is to retain only the last 5 to 7 years of emails.)
