# The following instructions will connect your Android device to NNU WIFI

> ℹ️ As of January 1st, 2025, all personal devices only require [Guest Registration](https://help.nnu.edu/space/TMR/2507776), which is valid for 1 year.

# 1) Connect to the "NNU Guest" WIFI network

<span style="color: #172b4d">Open up your network options by opening your "Settings" app and selecting the "Internet" option as shown below. Choose the "NNU Guest" Wifi network.</span>

# 2) Open Web Browser and navigate to the "NNU Onboarding" page

<span style="color: #172b4d">Open your web browser and enter "nnu.edu" in the search bar. You will be directed to the website shown below.  </span>

<span style="color: #172b4d">If you are a Guest at NNU click </span><span style="color: #172b4d">**[HERE](https://nnuitservices.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TMR/pages/2507776)**</span><span style="color: #172b4d"> for guest registration instructions. If you are a student at NNU, click on the "Onboard" button shown in the screenshot below.</span>

> 📝 *If the browser does not redirect you to the page shown below, enter* "<u>https://nnuguest.nnu.edu</u>"

# 3) Logging In

<span style="color: #172b4d">After clicking on the "Onboard" button shown above, enter your NNU username and password. After entering your username and password, click the "Log in" button.</span>

# 4) Configuring Your Device

<span style="color: #172b4d">After you have logged in, install "QuickConnect". It will help configure your device to connect to the NNU WIFI network. </span>

# 5) Appove Notification

You will recieve a notification ethier on-screen or in your notifications tray from QuickConnect asking to manage Wi-Fi networks. You must approve/allow this notifiaction for the NNU Wi-Fi to connect correctly.

If all the steps have been completed successfully you should see the page below displayed on your browser.

# 6) Connecting to the "NNU WIFI" network

First, forget the “NNU Guest” network; QuickConnect should automatically connect you to the NNU WiFi.

If you are not automatically connected to the NNU WiFi within a minute, connect to NNU WiFi manually as shown below.

> ⚠️ Only connect to the NNU WiFi manually if it does not connect automatically.

# <span style="color: #172b4d">7) Check the connection</span>

<span style="color: #172b4d">Open your preferred Web Browser and verify that you can navigate to multiple websites.</span>

> 📝 *Note: "google.com" is not a good test for connectivity due to our network access.*
