# The following instructions will connect your iPhone device to NNU WIFI

> ℹ️ As of January 1st, 2025, all personal devices only require [Guest Registration](https://help.nnu.edu/space/TMR/2507776), which is valid for 1 year.

# 1) Connect to the "**NNU Guest"** WIFI network

Open up your network options by opening your "Settings" app and selecting the "Wi-Fi" option as shown below. You will need to choose the "NNU Guest" Wifi network.

# 2) Open Safari and navigate to the "NNU Onboarding" page

<span style="color: #172b4d">Open the Safari web browser and enter "nnu.edu" in the search bar. You will be directed to the website shown below.  </span>

<span style="color: #172b4d">If you are a Guest here at NNU click </span><span style="color: #172b4d">**[HERE](https://nnuitservices.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TMR/pages/2507776)**</span><span style="color: #172b4d"> for guest registration instructions. If you are a Student at NNU click on the "Onboard" button shown in the screenshot below.</span>

> 📝 *If the Safari browser does not redirect you to the page shown below, enter* "[https://nnuguest.nnu.edu](https://nnuguest.nnu.edu)"

# 3) Logging In

<span style="color: #172b4d">After clicking on the "Onboard" button shown above, enter your NNU username (email) and password. After entering your username and password, click the "Log in" button.</span>

# 4) Configuring Your Device

<span style="color: #172b4d">After you have logged in, you must install a "Certificate" and a "Profile". Installing these two files will configure your device to connect to the NNU WIFI network.</span>

<span style="color: #172b4d">Install and allow the download for both the Certificate and the Profile. </span>

> ⚠️ You **must** download both files before installing them. Follow the instrustions below to install them.

> ℹ️ If you have “Stolen Device Protection” turned on, you will need to turn it off and restart the Wi-Fi setup.
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ You can turn Stolen Device Protection off in Settings under Touch/Tap ID & Passcode > Stolen Device Protection. Select “Start Security Delay” if/when prompted.
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ When the security delay is finished (and Stolen Device Protection is turned off) you can restart the steps to setup Wi-Fi.

Once both are downloaded go back into the "Settings" app and open the "Profile Downloaded" menu as shown below. Make sure to install the "Profile"

If all of the steps have been completed successfully, you should see the page below displayed on your browser.

# 5) Connecting to the "NNU WIFI" network

Open up your network options by opening your "Settings" app and selecting the "Wi-Fi" option as shown below. Choose the "NNU Wifi" network.

> 📝 Once you are connected to "NNU Wifi" use the info button to the right of "NNU Guest" > Macro (inline-media-image)
> 📝 
> 📝  and select "Forget this Network". That will ensure your device does not try to connect automatically to the Guest Network in the future.

# 6) Check the connection

<span style="color: #172b4d">Open your favorite Web Browser and verify that you can navigate to multiple websites.</span>

> 📝 *Note: "google.com" is not a good test for connectivity due to our network access.*
