## Description
When taking scheduled time off work, it is important to set an Out-of-Office message during your absence.
## Solution
> ℹ️ **Step 1:** Once logged in to Gmail, go to [Settings](https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/general) or click the cog icon in the top right corner, and select *Settings*.

> ℹ️ **Step 2:** Scroll down to the section called *Vacation responder*.
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ **Step 3:** Select the radio button for *Vacation responder on*, and then select the dates you want your responder to be active. People will receive your out-of-office reply starting at 12:01 a.m. on the *First day* until 11:59 p.m. on the *Last day*.

> ℹ️ **Step 4:** Write your subject line and message. It is also **highly recommended **you select **only send a response to people in your contacts **and **Northwest Nazarene University.** (This will help prevent spam)
