> 📝 The university’s **Grammarly Premium license will be discontinued on October 3, 2025**. After this date, Grammarly Premium will no longer be available through your NNU account.

In its place, we recommend using **Microsoft Editor**, which is included at no additional cost with your university Microsoft 365 account. Microsoft Editor offers grammar, spelling, and style suggestions similar to Grammarly.

You'll find Microsoft Editor in all Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Look for the blue pencil icon.

You may also install a browser extension to use Editor in non-Microsoft websites similar to the Grammarly extension.

To get started, install the **Microsoft Editor browser extension**:

- **For Chrome:** Install from [Chrome Web Store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/microsoft-editor-spelling/gpaiobkfhnonedkhhfjpmhdalgeoebfa)
- **For Edge:** Install from [Microsoft Add-ons](https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/microsoft-editor-spellin/hokifickgkhplphjiodbggjmoafhignh)
- **For Firefox or Safari:** Microsoft Editor is not available as a Firefox or Safari extension, but you can use it in Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 apps within these browsers.

Once installed, sign in with your **NNU Microsoft 365 account** to activate premium features.

If you need help setting up Microsoft Editor, please visit [Microsoft’s Editor Support Page](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-editor?msockid=1a8eed34e52b6e423eedf9a4e4916f32) or contact the IT Help Desk.
