Sapling Learning is a web-based software that science classes at NNU use for coursework and exams. Often times, if a student does not have Adobe Flash player installed on their computer, the elements of Sapling Learning will not load or work. The following steps will assist in making it work.

1. Ensure that Adobe Flash is installed, if it is not, please download it from the following link: [Adobe Flash Player](https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/)
2. In Chrome, have the student open [www.saplinglearning.com](http://www.saplinglearning.com) and log in to their account
3. They may see the following error message, this just means that Flash needs to now be enabled
  1. > Macro (inline-media-image)
4. Click the **Not Secure** message in the address bar, then click **Flash **and select **Allow.** Even though Allow (Default) was originally selected, you have to selected the other one.
  1. > Macro (inline-media-image)
5. Chrome will ask you to reload the page and then Sapling will work!
