First, please note that when you scan, whether you scan to your Home Drive or to email, the scan is carried via PaperCut services. When your scanned document is larger than 10 MB, it fails to send, and you might see an email explaining the scan failed. The steps below will help you send your scans successfully.

- Log in to the Toshiba.

- On the home screen, click Scan.

- On the next screen, you will see options for sending the scan to your Home Drive or email.
- You can modify the email subject and the name of the file.
- On the right, click **Change Settings.**

- On the next screen, you can choose the mode for 1- or 2-sided originals, portrait or landscape, and paper size.
- On the right **choose 200 dpi or less and choose B&W**. This will keep your scan files smaller and enable more pages per scan.
