## Solution

This is a quick way to get to the Chrome dialog box for clearing your cookies, history, and cache. The steps may be different for different types of devices. These steps are specifically for Mac or PC computers.

> ℹ️ Open the Chrome browser. In the URL address bar, type the following: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData. You may also use the following shortcut keys on your keyboard.
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ 1. On Mac, press the shortcut: Shift+Command+Delete.
> ℹ️ 2. On Windows, press: Ctrl+Shift+Delete. The below "Clear Browsing Data" dialog box appears.
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ 3. Choose the time from which you want to delete settings in the browser. If the cookies that you want to reset were recent, you don't need to delete all cookies from the beginning of time.
> ℹ️ 4. Select the box beside "Cookies and other site and plug-in data".
> ℹ️ 5. Press "Clear browsing data" to complete the process.
> ℹ️ 6. Close your browser and re-open it to log into the resource you are setting back up.
> ℹ️ 7. For more advanced users, if you really like shortcut keys and need to clear your browser often, you can add a Chrome extension. One extension is [Clear Cache](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/clear-cache/cppjkneekbjaeellbfkmgnhonkkjfpdn?hl=en). It does the same as Chrome’s Clear Browsing Data dialogue, but you can use the extension button next to the address bar, and set up how often you want your cookies reset by pressing Ctrl+Shft+R.
