# Before You Start

1. Make sure you have a Windows Phone smartphone. (Not Windows Phone?  [Android](https://nnuitservices.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TMR/pages/2493490) and [iPhone](https://nnuitservices.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=tmr&title=How%20to%20Setup%20DUO%20on%20an%20iPhone&linkCreation=true&fromPageId=2492926))
2. Make sure you have your username and password for the Microsoft Store.

# Download the App

To download the App, click the link below:

> ⚠️ If you are unable to run the DUO app for some reason, such as your device is too old or your device is restricted from downloading apps, then use text message (SMS) or [phone call](https://nnuitservices.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=tmr&title=How%20to%20Setup%20DUO%20to%20Call%20Your%20Phone&linkCreation=true&fromPageId=2492926) methods.

# Add Your NNU Account

1. Go to [my.nnu.edu](http://my.nnu.edu) in a web browser (Chrome or Firefox is recommended).  Click the *Login* button.
2. Enter your NNU username and password.> Macro (inline-media-image)
3. You will be prompted with a setup notification.  Click Start Setup> Macro (inline-media-image)
4. Select *Mobile phone*.> Macro (inline-media-image)
5. Enter your cell phone's number (the one you are using with DUO).  Hit *Continue*.> Macro (inline-media-image)
6. Select *Windows Phone*.  Hit *Continue*.> Macro (inline-media-image)
7. Go install the DUO Mobile app from Google Play store (if you haven't already).  Click *I have DUO Mobile installed*.> Macro (inline-media-image)
8. Open DUO Mobile on your phone.  If prompted to allow DUO to access your camera or allow it to send you notifications, click *Allow*.  Click *Add Account* or the Add account (key + icon).> Macro (inline-media-image)
9. Point your camera at the QR code (blurred for security purposes).  Click *Continue* when a green checkbox appears over the QR code.> Macro (inline-media-image)
10. At this screen click *Continue to Login* unless you want to add another login option.> Macro (inline-media-image)
11. Select *Send Me a Push*.> Macro (inline-media-image)
12. Hit *Approve*.> Macro (inline-media-image)
13. Done!
