The network drives (N: and S:) are accessible from any university device on campus. On Windows, the network drives are usually already mapped and can be found in File Explorer.

If the network drives have not been added, you can map them using the instructions below.

> The following steps will assist you with mapping the N & S Drives while on campus and on a university-managed computer.
>
> 1. Click on the Search Bar and type "Software Center". Select Software Center from the search results to launch the application.
> 2. Once the application has launched, locate and click on **Map Network Drives**. Then click **Install**

> 3. A few windows will open, letting you know it is mapping the drives. (In this example, the drives were already mapped, so it informed us so.)
> 4. After the drives are mapped, press any key on your keyboard to continue.
> 5. Your network drives are now mapped!
>
>
> > ℹ️ The application may say that the installation failed even though it succeeded in mapping the drives. This is a known issue. Confirm successful installation by opening Explorer or Finder and locating the icons.

> 1. Open “Self Service”, it should look like the NNU logo below.
> 2. Once you are in Self Service, scroll until you see "Mount Home Directory" and "Mount Shared Drive". Click "Install" on each. It will ask for your login; use your NNU login. This will mount both drives on your desktop.
> 3. On your desktop, it should look like this when done.
> 4. This will create mounted drives that will disappear whenever the computer is restarted. To keep them on your desktop, right-click on your named drive and the "Shared" drive and select "Make Alias" on each, respectively. The aliases will stay on the computer.
> 5. If you ever notice those drives missing, repeat these steps but select "reinstall" on Self Service.
