If you are a distance learning student requiring an NNU ID Card, contact your department Program Assistant to obtain and submit an ID Card Application.

### PICTURE INSTRUCTIONS

- Your picture must be a recent, color, head and shoulder passport-style digital photograph
- You must be facing the camera with a plain white or off-white background
- No sunglasses, hats, or funny face shots, please

### SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Your signed application and an enlarged copy of a government-issued photo ID must be submitted with your digital photo in whatever way required by the Program Assistant. The digital photo you  
submit will be used as your ID photo. Failure to comply with the picture instructions above will delay the processing of your NNU ID Card.

### ID CARD PROCESSING INFORMATION

When the Program Assistant receives an ID card application, an enlarged copy of a government-issued photo ID, and the required digital photograph, they will forward the photograph and application to IT Services to print the ID card. When the card is printed, it will be issued to the Program Assistant and sent to the applicant. You should receive your ID card through the US Postal Service within 15 business days. All Distance Learning Identification Cards will expire four years after the issue date. 

Walk-in NNU student ID card services are available at the ITS help desk in the Leah Peterson Learning Commons, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on national holidays. Contact ITS for an appointment at 208-467-8111 to verify when to visit the office.
