Use these steps to program speed call buttons on your phone.

  1. Press the blue oval Applications button above the hold button on the keypad.
  2. Press "Settings" on the next screen button
  3. Press Programmable Keys on the next display.

  4. Choose where you want the new key on your screens - page 1, 2, or 3.
Press the button you want to program.

5. Assign the feature you want to give the key. In this instance it will be "Speed Call".

6. Edit the label and number by entering the info from the display or by keying it in from repeatedly pushing the dialing key pad to bring up the right letters and numbers. For example, to put in the name Bob via the dialing pad, press the ABC (2) button 5 times to get a capital B, then the "6" button 3 times to get a lower case 'o', and then the "2" button twice for "b".

You can also use the display buttons repeatedly to enter the name.

7. Press Edit Number to edit the number. If it is an outside number, put in 9 before a local number and if it is a long distance number, put in 9 plus the proper long distance code (1 for US calls), then area code and number.

8. Press Save to save the button entries. You will see the button display on the phone. Press Close and Close again to finish the process.
