Problem

I am not receiving DUO or Google Push notifications.

Solution

Sometimes Push notifications can be blocked by the system or various programs such as Anti-Virus.

 

For DUO:
  1. Sign into a DUO protected system such as my.nnu.edu.
  2. Select Send me a Push.
  3. Open the DUO app on your phone.
  4. A green banner should appear with the number of waiting requests. Click the green banner.
  5. Verify that the request is coming from website and location you are trying to access.
  6. Click Accept (or Deny if you are not logging in).

If a green banner does not appear in the DUO app after you clicked Send me a Push, swipe down to reload.
